For many years, we had a soup business and spent countless hours in the kitchen making huge pots of soup. A great pair of oven mitts was essential. After we shut our doors, we started thinking about what we wanted to do next and went with what was close to home. Not knowing specifics about the materials, we researched and found that cloth provides maximum heat protection (as opposed to just silicone), and vertical silicone stripes provide both a secure grip and an extra layer of protection. Our oven mitts are heat resistant up to 480 degrees providing some of the highest heat protection on the market. Our mitts are both functional and stylish. They are machine washable and have loops for easy storage.We now offer them in a rainbow of colors and even have matching potholders.
